The focused mission of the staff at Wilson Alternative & Virtual School is to provide high quality instruction in a safe and equitable environment so that all scholars have access to an academic and social emotional learning experience.

Wilson Alternative & Virtual School’s vision is to create a community of successful readers, writers, speakers, and thinkers which emanates from a philosophy of high expectations and the core belief that each and every child can learn and achieve their greatest potential.

In Person (grades 3rd-12th):

• Immediate daily support from staff members.

• Access to on-site resources such as meals, technology, and mentoring.

• Structured routines that keep students engaged and on track.

• Smaller school environment for more one-on-one attention.

Virtual (grades 5th-12th):

• Flexible schedules with live and self-paced learning.

• Full access to teachers and school supports online.

• Regular virtual check-ins to keep students motivated and connected.

• Option to transition between virtual and in-person learning as needed.
