It has come to our attention that Lyft rideshares are being called to pick up scholars from school. Lyft does not allow riders under the age of 18 to use its services without an adult. Yellow buses at YCSD are available for eligible riders in PreK-8, and the WRTA is an option for high schoolers.
Companies have different safety policies for minors. Uber, for example, has a teen account, but it has its own set of requirements.
