The Y-STAR Scholarship is helping local students attend Youngstown State University with significant financial support. Eligible students can have tuition, fees, housing, meals, books, and a laptop covered depending on income.
Students must be:
accepted to YSU
have at least a 2.75 GPA
complete the FAFSA
enroll within one year of graduation
take at least 6 credit hours
Students are also required to attend one onboarding session this summer (June 8, June 29, or July 13 from 4:00–5:00 PM).
Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA at YSU and complete the FAFSA each year to keep the scholarship.
